Where nature, music, and community come together.
Nestled along the banks of the scenic Edisto River, the Edisto Blackwater Boogie is more than a festival — it is CMC’s flagship annual event and the celebration that makes our mission possible. Each year, we gather to honor the beauty of the Lowcountry, the power of live music, and the strength of the community that calls this place home.
Enjoy an unforgettable weekend of performances across two stages, family-friendly activities, camping under the stars, and the chance to explore one of South Carolina’s most treasured natural landscapes. Proceeds from the Boogie directly support CMC’s music education programs, instrument lending library, and community outreach — making your attendance an act of generosity as much as celebration.
The Edisto Blackwater will be on hiatus in 2026, but plans are already underway for 2027. Stay tuned for updates!
Each year, the Edisto Blackwater Boogie features an eclectic mix of regional and national artists across two stages — blues, bluegrass, folk, Americana, and beyond. We are proud to showcase the depth of musical talent that calls the South home.

Step into the spotlight and share your sound with the Lowcountry. We are looking for passionate musicians, singers, and bands to join our live lineup at the Edisto Blackwater Boogie. Whether you play blues by the river or Americana under the stars, this is your stage — and our crowd is ready to listen.
